RAMSEY, NJ – January 17, 2014 – In advance of its launch in February, today PureLink announced the debut product within its new PureView™ Series of HD Video system components – the PV-62M Mobile Presentation Switcher.
Within a single ruggedized chassis optimized for high-traffic, mobile environments, the PV-62M combines state-of-the-art performance, real-world flexibility and features, and mission-critical reliability to set a new standard in the burgeoning Presentation Switcher market. Among its many features, the PV-62M provides six HDMI 1.4b inputs and four TotalWire inputs (PureLink’s proprietary transmission system featuring HDBaseT technology) for switching, scaling, and extending control and audio/video signals including 1080P 3D, Ultra HD and 4K resolution formats. Combined with PureLink’s market-leading Don’t BlinkTM Switching Technology, the PV-62M seamlessly and reliably delivers crisp and clean images to any display.
The PV-62M also powerfully converges IT with A/V applications, receiving web-based remote control via any Windows or Mac platform, such as a PC, laptop, tablet, or smart phone. The PV-62M also offers advanced audio processing, with multiband EQs, compressors and more, along with iCON, PureLink’s innovative automation platform that enables control of third-party devices such as projectors, screens, lights and more, simplifying system operation. PureLink also will feature iCON throughout the PureView product line.
By mid-year, PureLink will also release the standard version PV-62, featuring the same functionality as the PV-62M but with different connectors and buttons tailored for other applications.
“Customers, consultants, distributors and contractors have all expressed the need for a true, all-in-one presentation switcher, and at PureLink we are always looking for ways to satisfy the demands of the market,” said Minsoo Park, CEO, PureLink. “The PureView Series eliminates the need for separate components, resulting in a simplified system design and reduced programming and installation time.”
PureLink estimates shipping the PV-62M by March 2014.
