PureLink, a leading provider of
digital connectivity solutions to commercial audio/video and IT markets
worldwide, today announced that they have begun shipping their new UX 4K series
HDMI integrated matrix switchers. This new system, which is part of their
HDTools product line, provides high performance distribution of audio and video
resolutions up to Ultra HD/4K, and is available in models UX-4400 and UX-8800.
The company has a long history in
the industry, not only developing the world's first digital matrix switcher,
but also the first HDCP-compliant matrix switcher and the first modular
cross-platform digital matrix switcher. PureLink’s UX Series provides a fast
and reliable Ultra HD/4K signal management solution for multiple sources and
displays. The UX is available in fixed I/O configurations, ranging from 4x4 to
8x8 and all models feature both HDMI 2.0b./HDCP 2.2 compliance. The UX Series
offers multiple control options, with bi-directional RS232 and LAN control via
TCP/IP or Web User Interface (UI). The built-in UI allows for easy
configuration and operation of the product. It enables users to create
switching inputs/outputs, preset and save switching commands, configure
internal and external EDID settings, as well as to change network settings and
check the system status.
"The UX series is HDR-compliant
(High Dynamic Range) with an advanced EDID management system that ensures a
seamless installation experience" stated Kevin Kang, PureLink's Technical
Sales Director. “Also, most providers in this space are limited 10.2 gigabits
of bandwidth, but the UX matrix switcher is the first one on the market that
can support 18 gigabits per second" he added. “This new device utilizes
the latest technology available in the marketplace and is ideal for corporate
conferencing and home theater uses as well as applications in education and
hospitality” commented Howard Schilling, PureLink’s Director of Sales. “With
resolutions up to 4K at 50/60 hertz and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, we expect to
be shipping many more of these in the weeks and months ahead” added Schilling.
