Sept. 6, 2021 - Barco announced today that it has extended its alliance with longtime partner and Italian system integrator VideoGecom to provide advanced visualization and collaboration solutions for the local control room market. The partnership will strengthen Barco’s position in the region and give VideoGecom the opportunity to offer Barco’s advanced control room solutions to its domestic market.

VideoGecom, based in Roma and Milan, was founded in 2000. The company has since been developing unified communication and collaboration solutions and interactive multimedia installations for environments such as auditoriums, board rooms, training rooms, meeting rooms, huddle rooms, digital signage and control rooms. VideoGecom offers design, supply and technical assistance for projects across Italy thanks to a wide intervention network that is coordinated through its Milan and Rome offices. 

The company has always been keen to adopt and implement Barco’s visualization and collaboration solutions, including ClickShare and weConnect, for corporate and education environments. Recently, VideoGecom has been strengthening its focus on the control room market and therefore it was eager to reinvigorate its partnership with Barco for that industry.
