Pyng among connected devices applauded for enhancing lifestyle and increasing
productivity
This week during the Microsoft keynote address at Computex Taipei
2015, the largest Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
trade show in Asia, Microsoft Vice President of Worldwide OEM, Nick Parker
featured Crestron Pyng in his presentation about the Internet of Things (IoT).
Parker discussed the benefits of connected devices and solutions like these to
help make our lives easier and more productive, and help both individuals and
businesses save time and money.
Parker went on to outline Microsoft’s strategy and business
opportunities the Windows® platform creates for partners, such as Crestron, and
showcased a range of the latest innovations of hardware on stage during the
keynote.
Parker noted in a Microsoft blog post, “We also featured
Crestron Pyng, elegant home automation technology that utilizes Azure™ IoT
services to connect lighting, shades, audio, thermostats, door locks and
security systems, so that everything works together intelligently to make life
easier.”
Crestron Pyng was released in late 2014 and has been wildly
popular among residential integrators and homeowners. It's the innovative new
home automation platform that enables set up and control in just a few easy
steps right from the iPad®.
Technology integrators can rapidly create lifestyle scenes for
each room, schedule events, and much more without ever opening a laptop.
Crestron Pyng also empowers homeowners to confidently make changes to their
scenes, settings, and even system schedules right from the app. Pyng makes your
smart home even smarter by learning how technology is used so the system can be
tailored to seamlessly blend with any lifestyle and save energy.
Computex Taipei 2015 welcomed the top ICT innovators and
entrepreneurs from every corner of the world who gathered to showcase the most
advanced and innovative products, attracting more than 38,000 international
visitors.
