Stuart Craig appointed Executive Director of Crestron Asia, Australia, and New Zealand

Rockleigh, NJ, July 9, 2013 – Crestron appointed Stuart Craig as its new Executive Director of Crestron Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Stuart previously held the position of General Manager at Crestron Australia, where he established the Crestron brand in the region. Based in Sydney, Australia, Stuart will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts in the Asia Pacific region, an area marked for high growth. With more than 19 years of experience in the AV industry and a proven track record of success, Stuart has the talent and expertise to drive this growing business for Crestron.

“Stuart joined Crestron Australia eight years ago and has been instrumental in making it the success it is today,” said Randy Klein, Crestron Executive Vice President & COO. “Stuart built a first-class organization and implemented marketing campaigns that helped Crestron dealers and partners in his region grow their businesses exponentially. Stuart is a tremendous asset and will provide a valuable communications link between Crestron headquarters and each of the international markets.”

During his tenure at Crestron Australia, Stuart opened several regional offices and showrooms, increasing the company's presence in the region. He implemented a national training program that enabled customers to access professional development courses in nearby cities. Under Stuart's leadership, Crestron Australia opened a local tech support and repair facility and developed an onsite support team to manage customer service and support needs. Stuart played an integral role in the appointment of education and consultant market development managers to support customers in these important markets.

As Executive Director, Stuart will provide clear direction and support for customers in the Asia Pacific region using strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

“I'm excited to bring the skills, resources, and expertise generated at Crestron HQ to the fantastic partners in our region to grow the brand,” said Stuart. “There is significant infrastructure investment as these economies expand, and only Crestron has the ability to provide a complete building control solution to meet their needs.”

Stuart established the inaugural Crestron Dealer Conference in Australia in 2008. The event focuses on developing customers' practical skills and growing their businesses with the wide range of Crestron products and solutions. It has since become an annual event, more successful each year.
