Fixed and electric 2.35 screens for the latest Panavision projectors on the market are now available from Elite Screens

CERRITOS, Calif., August 17, 2009 — Elite Screens, Inc. an innovative company that specializes in affordable high quality projector screens, today announced that their “CineTension2” electric tab-tensioned projection screens are now available in 2.35:1 aspect ratios for use with anamorphic projectors.

Elite’s new 2.35:1 Cinemascope/Panavision format is the latest aspect ratio available in our CineTenision2 tension electric projection screens. “Demand for a quality screen to accommodate the latest anamorphic projectors has been answered with our new electric projection screens in addition to the existing stock” said Dave Rodgers, Marketing Manager for Elite Screens. The CineTenison2 utiizes a strong 95 watt, 14rpm tubular motor with superior lift capabilities and a low voltage regulator merging raw power with the finest in green manufacturing qualities. It is controlled through its internal IR and RF receivers in addition to an RJ45 cable port that will link to a hard-wired wall witch or 5-12 volt trigger. The White Tension PVC material has a 1.1 gain that provides high quality color reproduction with the latest DLP/LCD  projectors. In addition, it has a black-backing to eliminate light penetration in favor of image brightness.  

“Anamorphic projectors are becoming more and more common below the $5000 price point,” Rodgers continued. “ so it is important to match the exacting requirements of quality with a reasonably proportionate price.”

Starting at $1548 MSRP, sizes are available from 85” to 153”. In-ceiling installation kits are available for installers as well. This product is currently available through retail, internet, professional AV and systems integrator channels. It comes with Elite’s two-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, which is twice the industry standard.
