DIGI-88B 8x8 HDMI matrix features HDMI and HDBaseT outputs with full 3D support
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado—August 27, 2013—Liberty AV Solutions announced the immediate availability of the latest Intelix eight input by eight output HDMI matrix, DIGI-88B, which replaces the aging DIGI-HD-8X8.
The new DIGI-88B features eight HDMI inputs and eight HDMI outputs with mirrored extender outputs. The DIGI-88B includes HDBaseT transmission chips to easily reach 70 meters (230 feet) over a single Category 6 or greater cable, an improvement over the previous model, which was limited to 100 feet. The new extender output allows Deep Color, full 3D, and up to 7.1 multichannel audio to be routed to any output. The compatible Intelix HDBaseT receivers are DIGI-HD70-R, DIGI-HD60C-R, and DIGI-HDE-R.
The DIGI-88B can be controlled via the front panel, local or remote infrared (IR), RS232, or Ethernet. The DIGI-88B supports bidirectional wideband IR, passes IR signals from the matrix to the display and includes an RS485 port. The extensive variety of control options makes the DIGI-88B an easily accessible matrix for any control system.
The DIGI-88B takes up only two rack units, saving valuable real estate in an equipment rack. The 200-watt internal power supply with an industry standard IEC power input in the DIGI-88B eliminates the need for “wall wart” or inline power supplies.
The DIGI-88B is in stock and now shipping from authorized Liberty AV Solutions/Intelix dealers across North America.
