Coopersburg, PA (January 26, 2011) – Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics has announced qualification training dates for its new HomeWorks QS total home control system and Sivoia® QS automated shading system. Companies wanting access to these new products must first complete the course.

The 5-day HomeWorks QS Qualification Course covers everything from design and specification, to installation and programming, with a capstone project and exam to ensure proficiency in the subject matter.

All training sessions will take place in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, at Lutron’s world headquarters, and is being offered to Lutron’s Residential System Providers. Training dates are as follows:

• March 21-25
• April 11-15
• May 16-20
• June 13-17
• July 18-22
• August 22-26
• October 10-14
• November 7-11
• December 12-16

The HomeWorks QS total home control system, launched in September 2010 at the CEDIA Expo, provides increased energy savings, is easier to install and program, and features greater integration capabilities than before, including lights, shades, appliances, and coming soon, HVAC.
