Industry veteran will be responsible for home entertainment product marketing and development


MAHWAH, NJ, December 19, 2011 -- Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, today announced that it has named Jim Sanduski Vice President of Strategic Product Marketing.

Mr. Sanduski is responsible for product marketing and development for Sharp’s entire Home Entertainment product portfolio. In addition, he will establish a new product development team and lead Sharp’s entry into next generation products in the CE space. He reports to John Herrington, President of SEMCA.

A 20 year veteran of both the CE and IT industries, Mr. Sanduski brings deep expertise in product marketing to Sharp. He has held executive-level sales and product marketing roles at top brands, helping him gain a wealth of insight into retail, product and consumer marketing.

“I’m very excited to join Sharp at this important juncture,” said Mr. Sanduski. “I look forward to helping the company expand its leadership in the large screen LED TV category while building on the company’s strength in other CE categories.”
