Prestigious International Awards Program Honors Outstanding Educational Technology Products and Companies

BREA, Calif. – June 8, 2023 – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solutions, today announced that the ViewSonic® ID2456 is the winner of the "Education Hardware Innovation Award" in the 5th annual EdTech Breakthrough Awards program conducted by EdTech Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies and solutions in the global educational technology market. In 2022, ViewSonic was EdTech Breakthroughs' "Next-Gen School Solution Provider of the Year."

The ViewSonic® ID2456 is a multifunctional 24-inch touch display designed to expand learning spaces and boost engagement. The high-performance screen features native 1080p Full HD resolution, with projected capacitive [PCAP] touch and Palm Rejection technologies.

It can be installed to be used as a podium display to control presentations projected on a big screen or a second monitor in hybrid classrooms. The display offers smooth and responsive touch and works with Microsoft Pen Protocol [MPP2.0] active pens to deliver precision and accuracy when writing or drawing.

The ability to present and manipulate digital documents and materials, combined with the device's precision touch technology, allows teachers to clearly illustrate and demonstrate concepts in a way that is engaging and easy for students to understand.

The ID2456 also features a sleek form factor with single-cable USB-C connectivity. Its bezel-less display design and five-pound weight makes it simple to transport, and it can easily integrate into existing classroom frameworks. The device also allows for screen mirroring or extending desktops - offering the ability to share content of digital documents - eliminating the need for physical versions.
