Visix, Inc. has been honored with three MarCom Awards for interactive designs for digital signage. Two awards were in the category of Digital Media/Interactive Capabilities, and one in Digital Media for Education.

The company received a Platinum MarCom Award for their Johnson Pharmaceuticals interactive wayfinding design. The project is built in responsive HTML5 with SMS integration to view it on mobile devices. Wayfinding includes 3D, flat and aerial maps, and is tied to an online frontend database for easy updates by the customer.

Gold MarCom Awards were given to Visix's Arkansas Tech University combination wayfinding and donor board project, and their Ohio University interactive LEED informational project. An honorable mention was also given for their Plaza of the Americas interactive wayfinding project.

MarCom is one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious creative competitions in the world. The 2017 MarCom Awards competition received over 6,000 entries for the 300+ categories in print, web, video, and strategic communications from around the world. Entries are judged by industry professionals, and winners are selected when the talent exceeds a high standard of excellence, making their work a benchmark for the industry.
